Honey-Garlic BBQ glazed Chicken wings

These party chicken wings are finger-licking delicious!! I put this recipe together years ago but never took the time to measure out exact proportions. Well finally, years later i measured, wrote it down and re-checked multiple times to make sure it always turns out the way it should. I’m a very big fan of simple recipes that don’t require a lot of mixed ingredients and a lot of time to put together. This recipe is exactly that! It takes only a few ingredients to make the marinade sauce and your favorite BBQ sauce to finish it off.

Ingredients:

4lbs Chicken Party Wings

3/4 cup Yoshida’s Original Gourmet sauce

1/3 cup Kikkoman Soy Sauce

2 TBSP Honey

2-3 cloves Garlic (pressed)

Instructions:

  1. Wash, clean and paper towel dry the chicken wings and transfer to a deep dish.
  2. In a bowl combine 3/4cup of Yoshida’s original gourmet sauce, 1/3cup of Kikkoman soy sauce, 2Tbsp of honey and 2-3 cloves of fresh pressed garlic. Mix everything very well until the honey dissolves.
  3. Pour the sauce over the wings and mix well and cover with foil or plastic wrap.
  4. Let the wings stand on the kitchen counter for at least 2-3 hours or 4-6 hours in the fridge. (Mix from time to time making sure every piece can absorb the marinade.
  5. Drain the sauce and lay out the chicken wings on a sheet pan (cover with foil for easy cleaning) and bake in the oven at 350F for 40-45 min.
  6. Bring the oven temperature down to 250F, take out the wings and rub with your favorite BBQ sauce and put them back in the oven for another 5-10 min (or until the BBQ sauce is no longer runny. Glaze with BBQ sauce one more time and put them back into the oven for another 5-10 minutes. (You may repeat glazing a third time for a thicker sauce glaze if desired)
  7. Enjoy!
