Ingredients

  • 1 pound White button mushrooms
  • 3 cloves Fresh Garlic (pressed)
  • 2 tablespoon Avocado Oil or olive/grapeseed are okay
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar

Instructions

  1. Clean and cut mushrooms into halves or fourths. Preheat pan or wok on medium-high heat and add 2Tbsp of oil into the pan.

  2. Add mushrooms and salt right away and fry the mushrooms until they develop a golden color, mixing frequently so they don't burn and allowing them to cook evenly.

  3. (If your heat wasn't high enough, the mushrooms may release their liquids. If that happens, that's fine, just cook down the liquid until all of it has evaporated before proceeding with the recipe) Add a splash of oil if needed.

  4. Once Mushrooms are golden, (golden = flavor) add 1/2tsp black pepper, 3 cloves of pressed garlic and 1Tbsp of Balsamic vinegar. (Add more salt if needed)

  5. Toss everything together to incorporate, fry for another 30-60seconds and take off the heat.

  6. Sprinkle the dish with fresh chopped parsley or green onions if desired and Enjoy!
