How to Make Easy Baked Chicken Wings in Sweet and Sour Sauce:

1. Wash and paper towel dry the chicken wings, transfer to a large bowl. (If you will use a dutch oven to bake, put them right into the dutch oven)

2. Chop the onion, grate the carrot, add the mayo and the sauce.

3. Mix well to combine and transfer to a dutch oven or a casserole dish. (If you will bake in a casserole dish, be sure to cover with aluminum foil)

4. Bake in a preheated 350 F oven for 1hr 30 min. Then reduce temperature to 250F and bake another 1hr 30 min. (Cooking times may vary depending on your oven. Watch closely for the wings to turn a golden brown color and a slightly thickened sauce)

When the chicken wings are done baking, there will be a slight layer of grease at the top, I like to skim most of it off and discard it. This step is optional but highly recommended.
