Strawberry Gelatine Dessert

This strawberry gelatine dessert is yet another one of those super easy recipes that you will keep on making. It requires only 4 ingredients to put together and it tastes like summer in your house all year round.
Ingredients:
1lb strawberries
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup of sour cream
2 Tablespoons Knox gelatine (dissolved in about 2-3oz cold water)

1. Wash strawberries and cut off the stem, transfer the strawberries into a blender, add the sugar and sour cream all at once and blend just until puréed.

2. Meanwhile dissolve 2TB gelatine in 2-3oz cold water, mix well then put it in the microwave for about 15–30 seconds and mix well again. It should be a very smooth consistency. Then add to the puréed strawberries and mix once more.

3. Pour the strawberry purée into 1 big dish or into individual cups to fancy it up a bit.

4. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or until completely set. Garnish with a fresh strawberry if desired.

Enjoy!

Have you tested about how many little cups one serving makes? I’m planning to double the recipe.
If I don’t have a microwave can this still be made? Please advise! Thanks:))))
Hi Alena! I want to try this, and this may be a dumb question but I don’t want to mess up the gelatin like I have in the past in other recipes. Do you have tips on how to dissolve it if you don’t have a microwave? Thanks!
