Quick & Moist Apple Tea Cake

This apple tea cake is the easiest cake i have ever made. It doesn’t require a lot of work and has very minimum dirty dishes. No need to turn on your stand mixer or pull out your hand mixer, just grab a whisk and a bowl and you’re good to start. It is a perfect last minute dessert to put together for any unplanned guest visits. It is moist, not overpowering sweet but just right with a cup of tea. Also, i must say if you don’t have apples on hand, you may also substitute with almost any fruit. Blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, peaches and even canned cherries (just drain well) to name a few.

Ingredients:

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients together, then add the eggs and melted butter. Mix everything with a whisk until everything comes together. Add the chopped apples and mix again just until apples are coated with the batter. Do not over mix!
  2. Spray a 9 inch spring form pan with cooking spray, transfer the batter and bake at 350F until golden brown or until a toothpick comes out clean. (about 35-40min)

Dust with powdered sugar if desired after it cools down.

ENJOY!
