Garlic & Parsley Baked Shrimps

Shrimp recipes are so quick and easy to prepare with easy methods like sautéing, baking, deep-frying, boiling and grilling. With shrimps it usually takes anywhere from 5-30 minutes from raw to done and aside from the fact that i love easy and quick recipes, we also love shrimp around here. I make a number of shrimp recipes which i cannot wait to share but here is this super easy and delicious one. Also, if you love shrimps but still haven’t tried these Ruth’s Chris bbq shrimps, you are missing out! Also these bang bang shrimps are finger licking delicious!

I love marinating my shrimps the same way i love to marinate my different meats, trying something different every time and getting different results. Experimenting in the kitchen is just something i do and i cannot hold myself away from it. This shrimp recipe has been tested baked, pan fried and grilled and i loved the outcome of them all, however baking was my favorite for a couple reasons, that is because i use fresh parsley in the marinate and it could burn on the grill while in the oven it still has the ability to keep its vibrant color. Pan frying is great but you have to do it in batches to avoid steaming the shrimps but baking, you have enough space on the sheet to spread them out and it only takes 5 minutes to cook start to finish. It doesn’t get quicker then that 🙂

Ingredients:

1lb Jumbo Shrimps (or wild pink Shrimps) peeled & de-veined

1/4 cup Olive Oil

1/4cup Chopped parsley (fresh)

1/2tsp Gourmet collection Garlic & Onion Spice

1/2tsp Johnny’s Seasoning Salt

Lemon juice (to drizzle on top)

Instructions:

Prepare the shrimps:

Wash, peel, de vein and paper towel dry the shrimps and place into a deep bowl.

To the shrimps add chopped parsley, olive oil, garlic & onion spice, and seasoning salt. Give it a good stir and set aside for 5-10 minutes.

Meanwhile, place your oven rack to the second highest insert in your oven and preheat to 450°F.

Transfer the shrimps onto a baking sheet spreading them apart so that they’re not touching each other.

Drizzle fresh lemon juice all over the shrimp and bake for 5 minutes.

Take out of the oven immediately and Enjoy!
