Store bought Pita Bread Pizza

Store bought pita bread recipe idea that is perfect for a quick after school snack or lunch idea. Same sauce with endless topping variations.

Pizza varieties are endless. From all the different sauces to all the toppings, treat this pita bread like any pizza dough, except with even less hassle. This Pita bread pizza is great to have as an appetizer, lunch or even dinner. If you are a parent, call your kids to the kitchen and have them make their own pizza. (They’ll even eat better if they make it themselves) 🙂

The idea of this post was to help busy parents serve up a quick meal using whatever ingredients you may already have in your fridge. While not every household may have red pizza sauce on hand, most households will have ketchup and mayonnaise and that is the sauce i use here. (With a little boost of sweet n’ sour, optional) I learned this from my mom when she used to make her home style pan pizza for us in my childhood years.

While the ingredients i used are super simple, this pizza packs a punch and the flavors come together so well. It is currently my favorite combination, though you may adjust them to your liking’s.
