Pan Fried Tilapia Fish

You’ll love this fish recipe. It does require some frying to do but it is so worth it! This recipe is one of my favorite ways to fry any kind of fish fillets.

Ingredients:

2lb Tilapia Fish fillets

1Tbsp Mrs.Dash Seasoning

3/4tsp of Salt

1/8tsp Black Pepper (Optional)

3Tbsp Mayonnaise

3-4 Eggs

1/2cup Plain Bread Crumbs

1/2cup All-Purpose Flour

Oil (for frying)

Instructions:

1.First prep the fish fillets by washing, drying with paper towel and cutting them into any piece size you like. Place the fish in a bowl and season with 3/4tsp of salt, 1/8tsp of black pepper (optional), 1Tbsp of Mrs. Dash seasoning and 3Tbsps of mayonnaise. Mix everything together, cover with plastic wrap and leave it out on the counter for at least an hour to absorb the seasonings. (You may put in the fridge overnight and fry next day).

2. Prepare the coating mix. In a bowl combine 1/2cup of flour and 1/2 cup of plain bread crumbs.

3. In a separate bowl whisk together 3-4 eggs with a whisk or fork.

4.Heat a skillet on med/low, add about 2Tbsps of Oil, dredge the fish into the dry mix first coating on both sides, then into the eggs coating both sides and onto the heated pan. Fry until golden brown on both sides.

We like to eat our fried fish with a slice of bread and sweet onions for some extra vitamins 🙂
