Canned Chicken Canapes aka Mini Pizzas

The most go-to hot canapes i know of. They are so popular and can fit any and every occasion. They are so simple to make and the ingredients are ones that you most likely already have on hand. Try them once and you’ll always keep on making them.

Ingredients:

1 french baguette bread

1 12.5oz can of Canned Chicken in water

1 medium Tomato

1/2cup Mozzarella Cheese (PLUS more for top)

1 clove garlic (optional)

3Tbsp Mayonnaise

Pinch of Salt

Instructions:

  1. Drain the canned chicken, transfer into a bowl and break up the chicken pieces with a fork.
  2. Dice a medium sized tomato and add to the chicken together with 1/2cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, 1 clove of pressed garlic (optional), 3Tbsp of mayonnaise and a pinch of salt.
  3. Mix everything together to combine.

4. Cut your baguette to about 1/2″ slices and top them off with the chicken mix.

5. Finally, finish off with more mozzarella cheese on top.

6. Bake in a preheated 350F oven for about 12-15 min or until cheese has melted on the top and the bottom of the bread is crisp.
