Strawberry Halves with a Cream Cheese topping
I’m the biggest fan of tasty and simple recipes. Something I can put together quickly without putting too much work into it, but when you serve it, it looks like you’ve spent a great amount of time on it. Let me introduce you to my delicious strawberry halves topped with a cream cheese strawberry topping. They look appealing and if you serve this to your guests, they will go back for seconds and thirds for sure! Plus it’s fruit, soooo can we call this a no guilt dessert? 😄
Ingredients:
10-12 Fresh Strawberries
4oz Cream Cheese (room temp)
3 Tablespoons of Strawberry Pie Filling (without the strawberry pieces)
1. Wash and dry your strawberries and cut them in half.
2. Prepare the cream cheese topping: using a hand mixer cream together 4oz cream cheese (room temperature) and add 3 full tablespoons of the pie filling (avoid the strawberry pieces)
3. Fill a pasty bag with the cream and pipe the cream on top of the strawberry halves. (I used Wilton 2D tip but you can use any tip you like)
4. You can leave them like so, OR you can add more of the pie filling into a small ziploc bag, cut off the corner tip and drizzle on top of the cream.
Enjoy!
