Super Simple Soup with beef meat
The easiest, fastest and the most time-saving soup you’ll ever make. You will be surprised with how it tastes too. It requires no sauteing, and hardly any prep work. The only thing you need for this soup to be prepared ahead of time is the meat. Check out the recipe for the meat here. Since i have this meat in stock in my fridge at all times, it makes cooking an ease especially on those lazy days or sick days when you do need to sip on some hot soup. It is light, not overflowing with fat floating at the top from all the sauteing and it has just enough ingredients to make the soup complete. Do you need me to mention again? It is super simple to make. We like to eat this soup with just a slice of bread and sometimes even a slice of sweet onion for some extra vitamins.
Ingredients: (no need to be precise, add more or less of each ingredients to your liking’s)
5-6 medium potatoes (cubed)
1 carrot (cut in circles)
1 full onion
1.5 Cups Fully cooked Beef meat
Salt to taste
2-3 Bay leaves
1-2 cloves of garlic
Greens: fresh dill, fresh parsley (chopped)
1.Add everything in a deep pot, cover completely with water about 2-3 inches over the ingredients.
2.Add salt to taste and bay leaves, mix well and onto the stove on high heat until it comes to a boil. After it comes to a boil, reduce heat to med/low and cook until the potatoes are cooked through. (usually about 20-30 min)
3. After the potatoes are cooked through, add 1-2 cloves of pressed or minced garlic and add your chopped greens and turn off the heat.
***Do NOT replace the garlic with powdered garlic, and do NOT replace fresh greens with dry ones. It completely changes the taste.
ENJOY!
